Ghatak 2006 Bengali movie JEET-KOELGHATAK (2006) directed by Swapan Saha is one of the Bengali movies whose title becomes ambigous when transliterated ... the title is GHAATAK as in someone who strikes back, and not GHATAK - a matchmaker.

Kolkata Bengali Film Hero Jitendra "Jeet" Madnani appears as Vijay with Koel Mullick as Pooja as the lead pair. The cast also has Tapas Pal and Bodhisattva Mazumdar in significant roles. Jeet's character Vijay comes to big city Kolkata to try to give an education and a better life to his brother. Unfortunately, Vijay gets entangled in the criminal world. Pooja, played by Koel, steps in and helps Vijay get back on track, while Vijay gets his revenge for two murders.

The music of Ghatak is by Jeet Ganguly, and the soundtrack was pretty successful.
