A Still from Thamizh Padam (2010) New Tamil Movie ReleaseThamiz Padam (2010) Tamil comedy film is directed by debutant director C S Amuthan and produced by Dayanidhi Azhagiri. It is not unusual in the Tamil movie industry for politicians to get involved in movies - the producer in this case is the grandson of the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M Karunanidhi and son of Union Minister M K Azhagiri.

The star cast of Thamizh Padam includes Shiva AKA Mirchi Shiva, Disha Pandey, Venniradi Moorthy, Manobala, MS Baskar, Paravai Muniamma, Shanmugasundaram. Music is by Kannan.

Thamizh Padam is a Tamil comedy film that puts on display the humorous side of the formula driven mainstream Tamil movie industry.
