Acclaimed director Viji Thampi's Veluthambi Dalava upcoming Malayalam film release is produced by Renjith Rajaputra. The title role of Velayudhan Chempakaraman Thampi will be played by Malayalam hero Prithviraj.

Prithviraj Sukumaran (പൃഥ്വിരാജ് സുകുമാരന്‍) came into Malayalam movie limelight with Nandanam (2002). His other notable movies inlcude Swapnakoodu, Ananthabhadram, Chocolate, Vaasthavam, Classmates, Thirakkatha, Thalappavu, Puthiya Mukham, Robinhood and so on. Prithviraj also appears in, and is a popular, Tamil cinema hero as well. His notable Tamil films include Kana Kandaen, Parijatham and Mozhi etc.

Prithviraj is now trying to make inroads inti Telugu Movie Industry, and his Telugu debut Police Police is eagerly awaited by Indian movie lovers.
