The release date of Kites Hindi film is MAY 21, 2010.
Kites is directed by Anurag Basu (Gangster, Life In A Metro) and stars Hrithik Roshan (Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gum, Guzaarish) paired with Barbara Mori (Inspiración, Violanchelo). The film is mostly shot on various locations in the western United States.
Music is by Rajesh Roshan, and the movie is produced by Rakesh Roshan.
Hrithik Roshan is the son, and Rajesh Roshan is the brother, of Bollywood Actor - producer Rakesh Roshan.
Bárbara Mori Ochoa is an actress - model from Mexico.
The promo-trailer screams "In love there are no boundaries ... In love there are no rules ... In love there are no strings attached." This may turn out to be a regular old love triangle story with Bollywood packaging.
It is saddening to see a Ford F-150 being run off the road by a Chevy in the trailer ! Chevy truck owners would be proud.

Kites (2010) delayed again till March 2010 ?
Buzz is that Kites, the somewhat controversial Hrithik Roshan-Barbara Mori film, is drifting aimlessly once again.
It was to release on October 16, then got put off to February 15, now the film will be lucky if it opens in March 2010 as promised by the producer’s spokesperson. Two stories are doing the rounds over this. One is that the Roshans cannot find an overseas distributor. And, the other is that they are wary of Shah Rukh Khan’s My Name is Khan for Karan Johar that’s releasing on February 12.
