Adapted from Roger Michell's 1999 UK English movie Notting Hill (Julia Roberts, Hugh Grant), the upcoming 2010 Hindi comedy movie Pyaar Impossible is a story of a ordinary man's courting of a celebrated girl. Pyar Impossible is directed by Jugal Hansraj - the actor remembered by many for his role of a young boy in the Naseeruddin Shah - Shabana Azmi blockbuster Masoom (1983), which was also an adaptation of Erich Segal's Man Woman and Child.
It may be that Jugal Hansraj is destined to contribute in acting and directional capacities to a disproportionate number of movies which are copied from English movies!
Pyaar Impossible has a star cast of the beautiful Miss World Priyanka Chopra, Yash Chopra's son (Aditya Chopra's brother) Uday Chopra, ex-boyfriend of Lara Dutta and Bipasha - Basu Dino Morea and veteran comedian and lead actor Anupam Kher.
Music is by Salim Merchant and Sulaiman Merchant (Salim-Sulaiman). The film is expected to have a release date of January 1, 2010.
